Description
English: Leaf of painted buff silk. Obverse: three medallions, the central one containing landscape scene; ground decorated with brown and red lines and appliquéd with sequins. Reverse: medallion of ribbon and music trophies. Pierced, gilded and painted ivory sticks. White paste jewel and metal bail at rivet. In box painted in similar manner as fan with wreaths of roses, blue ribbon, trophies and green vine, with light blue lining. Marked in gold, “Creusy 28 Rue Meslay Paris”.
