Description
Français : Plaque constructeur BB69200 SNCF Infra.

Cette locomotive, connue après 1962 sous le matricule 66000 et déployée jusque 68, tracta aussi bien rames voyageurs que convois marchandises, grâce à sa vitesse de pointe atteignant 120 km/h. Elle est renommée lors d'une réaffectation au cours des années 2000, selon la nouvelle nomenclature à 6 chiffres, et perd sa livrée bleu pétrole/blanc.

Très fiable, certains exemplaires circulent encore, 60 ans après leurs débuts !

  • Cie électro-mécanique (CEM): filiale du suisse Brown-Boveri, reprise par Alsthom au cours des années 1980;
  • Société Alsacienne de Constructions Mécaniques (SACM)/MGO (Marep-Grosshans-Ollier): implantée à Mulhouse et étroitement liée à Alsthom à l'instar de la précédente, aussi active dans l'ingénierie nucléaire civile. Assemble métiers à tisser et moteurs diesel, dont le fameux MGO. Devient un temps filiale du finlandais Wärtsilä, constructeur de turbines marines, avant de disparaitre;
  • CAFL St-Chamond: succède en 1954 à la Cie des forges et aciéries de la marine, forme Creusot-Loire en 70 par rapprochement avec la SFAC du groupe Schneider, et disparait en milieu de décennie suivante;
  • Fives Lille-Cail: Fives Lille nait vers 1860 et devient Fives-Cail un siècle après, puis Fives Cail-Babcock en 1973, après association avec le chaudiériste américain. C'est aujourd'hui l'un des plus importants bureau d'études au monde en ingénierie industrielle, travaillant sur des projets touchant à l'aéronautique, automobile, sidérurgie ou encore ciment, verre, sucre etc. Le groupe conçoit machines-outils, lignes de production complètes...
