Von den kriegerischen Ereignissen
während des preußisch-österreichischen
Krieges von 1866 wurde Geisa nur indirekt
berührt. Aus den Gefechten im Feldatal
und im Raum Roßdorf/Wiesenthal fanden
drei junge Menschen auf dem Geisaer
Friedhof ihre letzte Ruhe.
Es handelt sich um den Major Cäsar
Rüstow, um Hauptmann von Egidy sowie
um einen einfachen Soldaten.
