Title
Lyon-Montchat. Place Ste-Marie. Terminus du Tramway
Description
At an intersection two trams intersect because of a track duplication.
Each tramway takes its power with a pole. These poles join two electrical cords maintained by cables strung between poles on either side of the roadway. The roof is advertising carrier: for a "Saponite washing" and the other "" Buttercup Soap ". The floor is paved at rail level.
To the right is a seemingly continuous sidewalk that leads to the background to a trade that the striped awning is lowered.
On the left, a more than two-storey building, receives the ground floor two shops "Tobacco Widow Calandras Counter" and "Counter Berthollet". On the sidewalk is a public water source. Beyond it becomes a place then continues lined buildings. A smokestack stands in the distance.
The scene, while the trees are covered with leaves, is animated by many passersby of all ages.
