  • Italiano: Wilhelm von Plueschow (1852-1930). Numero di catalogo: 10070. Questa foto è un ottimo esempio della confusione attualmente creata dai mercanti d'arte. Un esemplare di questa foto di Plüschow è stato proposto online con l'attribuzione "Vincenzo Galdi, Taormina", laddove Taormina era il luogo in cui abitava Gloeden, non Galdi. Il numero di catalogo dimostra però che si tratta di Plüschow, dato che i cataloghi sia di Gloeden che di Galdi non superano il numero 4000.
  • English: Wilhelm von Plüschow (1852-1930). Catalogue number: 10070. This image is a good example of the confusion currently created by art dealers. A print of this image by Plüschow has been auctioned online as "Vincenzo Galdi, Taormina", whereas Taormina was the living place of Gloeden, not Galdi. However, the catalogue number shows that the author can only be Plüschow, since neither Galdi's nor Gloeden's catalogue numbered above 4000.
