Português: Em constante mutação, a arquitetura da capital paulista nos coloca diante da transitoriedade das coisas e da implacabilidade do tempo. Com seus mais de 450 anos, São Paulo possui uma infinidade de prédios históricos que nos fazem rememorar os primeiros passos dessa metrópole. Muitos deles cumprem uma dupla função: proporcionar atividades artísticas e culturais à população e, ao mesmo tempo, imortalizar a história da cidade. Casa de Dona Yayá, Caixa Cultural e Pinacoteca do Estado são apenas alguns exemplos disso. Tais quais esses centros culturais, muitos outros se nos apresentam como uma ótima oportunidade de conhecer melhor nosso próprio passado. Mesmo vazios, prédios como esses teriam um valor inestimável.
