| Description |
English: Pilhay Bridge and sluice on Congresbury Yeo river. Pilhay bridge joins the villages of Yatton and Puxton and lies at the end of 'Gang Wall' an ancient walkway over the wetland. The sluices are used to control flooding of the surrounding wetlands which lie below river level. NB: PS reading showed bridge to be 8 feet above MSL. |
