Description
English: U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrew Dodendorf acts as a heat casualty during a medical subject matter expert exchange during Balikatan 2014 at Clark Air Base, Philippines, May 11, 2014. Rescue and firefighter Marines and the Philippine airmen learned about heat casualties and best preventative measures. In its 30th iteration, Balikatan is an annual training exercise that strengthens the interoperability between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military in their commitment to regional security and stability, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. Dodendorf is a preventive medical technician with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Marine Wing Support Group 17, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. The Marines are with MWSS-172, MWSG-17, 1st MAW.
