Description	A Royal Navy McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.1 from No. 892 Squadron landing aboard the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Independence (CVA-62) during cross-deck operations in 1972. In the foreground the tail of a F-4J Phantom II from Fighter Squadron VF-33 Tarsiers. VF-33 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7) aboard the Independence for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 16 September 1971 to 16 March 1972.
