English: "Matahari" at one year and nine months delivering one of her six kittens.This is a very large number of kittens for the Persian cat breed and this being her first litter, all were delivered safely. This was the cat's first pregnancy and delivery, requiring considerable help from its human companions. In the photo the kitten has just been delivered with the placenta. |
