Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Permanent Way hut on the way to Holt Platelayers hut, an LNER concrete stands looking over the North Norfolk landscape. These huts were built all over the railway network, out of Concrete or old sleepers. A stove could be set going at dinner time for track workers to have their lunch or warm up. The hut is not used for its original purpose anymore, being full of old signalling equipment. Please Note this photo was taken on railway property, I was in possession of a line side pass issued by the railway. Going on the line side without one is trespassing.
