Summary[edit]

Description Ad for the Pennsylvania Special. The train was first named the Pennsylvania Limited. It was in service with this name from 1902 to 1912 and was named the Broadway Limited after 1912. The train's nightly schedule is included in the ad--though it would be a few years before all steel rail cars were mandatory, the PRR used this as a selling point.
