English: Emperor Pedro II of Brazil in court dress, 1865. The original photography is located in the archives of the Instituto Histórico e Geográfico Brasileiro (Brazilian Historic and Geographic Institute). Its description is "D. Pedro II / Fotografia de ..., com uniforme de Almirante, s.l., s.d., sentado, 3/4, dims. 13 x 10 cm, oval." It can be found in "Lata nº 24", under the "nº 115 IC - Retrato" or as microfilm under the code "Arm. 1, Prat. 3, Escan 5, Pasta 83-3".
