English: Salisbury, England. c. 1917. Soldiers examining a Pedrail Landship at Buford Camp. This single unarmoured prototype was produced for the Landships Committee who were responsible for the development of the tank. Although this prototype displayed some interesting features, including moving on bogies equiped with a pedrail track system at 15 miles per hour, the vehicle was not adopted for service. |
