Description

Creator: Unidentified.

Location: Thursday Island, Queensland.

Description: Tomozo Yonekawa, the head diver for the Bowden Pearling Company at Thursday Island. (Description supplied with photograph.)

Tomozo Yonekawa was the seaman-in-charge and first diver on the Sedney. He was from Ukui in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan and was aged 38 at the time.
