Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pasque Flowers Catching Some Sun Through the Pines. Pasque flowers are one of the first wildflowers to emerge in Spring. Spring at 9,000 feet on the Bighorn National Forest in North Central Wyoming might not arrive until June. This photo was taken along a forested trail leading to the James T. Saban Fire Lookout. These flowers seemed to be in the right place to catch sunlight coming through the pine trees. This photo was submitted for the May 2023, employee photo contest: flowers and pollinators.
