| Description |
Nederlands: Het molair volume van een thermodynamisch systeem met twee componenten (A en B). Het verschil in molair volume dat door mengen van de componenten wordt veroorzaakt (ΔVmengen) is een functie van de molfracties van A en B. Bij een compositie van puur A (XA = 1,0; XB = 0,0) is het molair volume gelijk aan het molair volume van A onder standaardomstandigheden (V°A). Bij een compositie van puur B (XB = 1,0; XA = 0,0) is het molair volume gelijk aan het molair volume van B onder standaardomstandigheden (V°B). Voor een compositie XA = 0,55 + XB = 0,45, zijn vA en vB de partiële molaire volumes van A en B respectievelijk. De gestippelde lijn die V°A en V°B verbindt is de theoretische curve wanneer mengen van A en B geen verschil in volume zou veroorzaken. |
