Summary[edit]
DescriptionParkrose-Sumner Transit Center (2017).jpg | TriMet's Parkrose/Sumner Transit Center (in Portland, Oregon), with two buses laying over. The metal bridge partially visible at left leads to the transit center's MAX light rail station, on the MAX Red Line. Buses 2545 (left) and 2310 are both New Flyer D40LFs, built in 2001 and 1999, respectively. This facility first opened in 1984, as a park-and-ride lot (Parkrose Park & Ride) – not designated a transit center, because it was served only by a single bus route (14-Sandy, renumbered 12 in 1986), with a second route (201) added in the 1990s. A MAX station was opened adjacent to the park-and-ride in 2001, and it was renamed Parkrose/Sumner Transit Center at that time. |
