| Description |
Les Halles | Rue du Louvre The first Telephone Exchange building constructed in 1890-93 was destroyed by a fire in 1908 while reconstruction was already planned before. The original building was rebuilt in concrete Hennebique. Arch. René Binet and Charles Giroud 1907-08. Changes were made between 1910 and 1924. In 1924, the work was done by the Company Ferrand Marcheguet Frères, a Hennebique dealer. Successive modernization campaigns of the building were made between 1944 and 1980. |
