Description
English: Drawing of the 'Arcus Einhardi', probably the silver foot of a crux gemmata (reliquary cross decorated with gems) formerly in the Treasury of the Basilica of Saint Servatius in Maastricht (lost since the 18th c.). Drawing by unknown artist, 17th c, now in the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris. Detail of the upper part of the drawing depicting Christ and the twelve apostles.
