Español: Steganoderma szidati, en honor a Lothar Szidat un parasitólogo alemán que en los años 50s vino a trabajar a la Patagonia. Es un digeneo que habita el intestino del puyen chico, Galaxias maculatus. La zona amarilla es el útero, técnica campo oscuro y focus tracking.
English: Steganoderma szidati, named in honor of Lothar Szidat, a German parasitologist who came to work in Patagonia in the 1950s. It is a digenean parasite inhabiting the intestine of the small puyen, Galaxias maculatus. The yellow area represents the uterus, using dark field technique and focus tracking.
