Pantabangan offers not only its enormous man-made lake but also its guesthouse, the Best View Hotel and Restaurant. With its Spa and Beauty Cottage Salon, swimming pool, tennis courts and water sports amenities, the tourists and guest enjoy the luxury and beauty of the placid scenery of the dam. [6][7] [8]First Gen Hydro Power Corporation (FG Hydro) owns and operates the Pantabangan-Masiway Hydroelectric Complex (PMHEP). The Pantabangan and Masiway plants are cascading hydroelectric power plants located in Nueva Ecija. Commissioned in 1977 and 1981, respectively, the Pantabangan and Masiway plants are part of a multipurpose hydro complex that supplies irrigation water for the vast rice fields of Nueva Ecija. |
