Description
English: This panorama is composed of 11 of 79 files acquired by Perseverance rover using its left Mastcam-Z camera directly from its landing point in the Jezero crater of Mars on March 1, 2021 (sol 4). It is the first full 360° panorama of Mars acquired in the Mars-2020 mission. Azimuths of photos used to concatenate the SE set are: 139°, 143°, 148°, 152°, 157°, 161°, 166°, 171°, 175° and 180°.

Photos on the edges of panorama are used partially. A few bytes are added to each edge to ease further concatenations of adjacent panoramas.

NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its Left Mastcam-Z camera. Mastcam-Z is a pair of cameras located high on the rover’s mast.
