Description
Deutsch: Der Schutzpatron der Pankratius-Kirche in Buchholz, der hl. Pankratius. Nach der Legende wurde er um 300 mit 14 Jahren in Rom als Märtyrer enthauptet, deswegen ist er auch Jugendpatron. Als Eisheiliger passt er zum Weinbauort Buchholz. Es handelt sich um ein Ausstattungsstück aus der Vorgängerkirche, jetzt an der Seitenwand der Altarinsel aufgestellt. Der Bildhauer ist unbekannt, möglicherweise handelt es sich um den Vöhrenbacher Meister Adam Winterhalder, der 1699 eine Joachimsfigur für die nahegelegene Suggentaler Kirche schuf.
