العربية: مخطط يوضح كيف يتم التعرف على LPS (مثال على نمط جزيئي مرتبط بالممراض أو PAMP) بواسطة مستقبل التعرف على الأنماط (PRR) على سطح خلية بلعمية كبيرة. ينتج عن ارتباط الپامپ بمستقبل التعرف على الأنماط مسار تأشير يتسبب في إفراز السيتوكينات: الإنترلوكين 1 (IL-1) والإنترلوكين 8 (IL-8) وعامل نخر الورم ألفا (TNFα) التي تسمح بدخول الخلايا المتعادلة البلعمية من الدم إلى النسيج المصاب.
