Das Frauenzentrum Schokofabrik entstand im Mai 1981 als eine Gruppe Frauen* aus der autonomen Frauenbewegung die lange leer stehende, ehemalige „Schokoladenfabrik Greiser und Dobritz“, Mariannenstraße 6, Berlin-Kreuzberg besetze.^[2]

Das Frauenzentrum Schokofabrik versteht sich als offener Ort für Frauen, Lesben, inter*, nichtbinäre*, trans* und agender Personen mit einer Reihe unterschiedlicher Angebote.

Zum Verein „Schokoladenfabrik e.V.“ gehören die Bereiche:

• Beratung, Veranstaltungen, Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe
• Hamam
• SchokoSport
• Treffpunkt - Bildung und Beratung für Schwarze, geflüchtete und migrantisierte Frauen, Mädchen, trans*, inter* und nichtbinäre Erwachsene und Jugendliche ^[3]

The Schokofabrik women's center was formed in May 1981, when in the context of the autonomous women's movement, a group of women* occupied the former "Schokoladenfabrik Greiser und Dobritz", Mariannenstrasse 6, Berlin-Kreuzberg, which had stood empty for years.^[5]

The Schokofabrik women's center sees itself as an open place, offering a range of resources for women, lesbians, inter*, non-binary*, trans* and agender people.

The resources offered by the association “Schokoladenfabrik e.V.” encompass:

• Consulting, events, help for self-help
• Hammam
• SchokoSport
• Meeting point - education and counseling for black, refugee and migrant women, girls, trans*, inter* and non-binary adults and youth ^[6]
