| Description | Oxford (Lafayette County), Mississippi. This cemetery is adjacent to St. Peter's Cemetery, with nothing marking the line between them. Thus, many people think Faulkner is buried in St. Peter's when in fact he's buried in Oxford Memorial. (A funeral home in Oxford has confirmed that he is NOT in St. Peter's, but that error continues to be perpetuated.) |
