Description
English: Offered for sale by Abbott and Holder in August 2020 when it was described as " 'Our Musical Hope': Sir Thomas Beecham (1879-1961) conducting at the Queen's Hall. Pencil, ink, watercolour and gouache. Signed and dated, 1915. Inscribed on the original backing. Exhibited: International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers, Spring Exhibition, 1915, as ‘Notre Espoire Musicale’.13.5x11 inches."
