Schönheide im Erzgebirge: Sog. Oschatz-Villen, hier die obere Villa, von der Gemeinde Schönheide im Jahr 2016 abgerissen:
Das Haus Hauptstraße 12 (früher Hauptstraße 399 B) war ein Kulturdenkmal und stand auf der Liste der Kulturdenkmale in Schönheide. Das sächsische Landesamt für Denkmalpflege hatte es als Kulturdenkmal eingestuft und beschrieb das Gebäude so:
"Oschatz-Villen; Villa mit Holzveranda; [zusammen] mit Gebäude Hauptstraße 11 Bestandteil eines spätklassizistischen Ensembles von zwei identischen Villen im Ortskern, von hoher ortsbildprägender und bauhistorischer Relevanz. Datierung: um 1870, Veranda 1905" (aus: Kulturdenkmale im Freistaat Sachsen, Landesamt für Denkmalpflege).
Der Schönheider Gemeinderat hatte am 2. Februar 2016 (erneut) beschlossen, die Villa Hauptstraße 12, also die obere der beiden, abzureißen, hierfür 142.000 Euro aufzuwenden, beim Land Sachsen hierfür Fördermittel aus Geldern der Europäischen Union zu beantragen und dort einen Parkplatz anzulegen. In das Gebäude Hauptstraße 11, also die untere der beiden Villen, sollen nach einem Beschluß des Gemeinderats von 2014 nach dem Ankauf durch die Gemeinde und der baulichen Umgestaltung die Gemeindebücherei und die Tourist-Information einziehen. Der Gemeinderat hat hierfür eine Finanzgrenze von 600.000 Euro gesetzt.
Im Vordergrund die freie Fläche nach Abriß der oberen Villa, Hauptstraße 12. Blick auf die untere Villa, Hauptstraße 11. Rechts davon ist die Straße der Einheit zu sehen, die an der ehemaligen Gastwirtschaft "Zur guten Quelle" vorbei zur früheren Hammerschule führt.
