Deutsch: Mitte September 2020 gerieten große Gebiete der US-amerikanischen Westküstenregion (Kalifornien, Oregon, Washington) in Brand. Staubteile davon wurde unter anderem um den 16. Sept. 2020 auch in Deutschland in Höhen von 10 bis 12 km gemessen (Artikel Frankfurter Rundschau: Rauch strömt auch nach Deutschland: Klimawandel als Brandbeschleuniger: Waldbrände in den USA könnten noch Monate andauern). Die Aufnahme hier entstand an der Aachener Burgstraße gegen 19.30 Uhr abends am 16. Sept. 2020, Blickrichtung Westen. Der Deutsche Wetterdienst kündige eindrucksvolle Sonnenuntergänge an. Das Bild wurde nicht nachbearbeitet. Der Photograph fährt diese Strecke täglich und hat noch nie zuvor ein so starkes Phänomen beobachtet. |
