Taps Taps - - Taps 0; what- 0; what is this I see?Why die brave men, strong men, so free? They died for God, Home, Liberty; They died for me. Taps Taps With solemn stately tread they move.Mid screaming, bursting shells above,Where fear is drowned by greater Love; So, on they move. Taps Taps - Tis Frenchmen, Belgian, Briton, all,All marching to the solemn call,To honor Americans who fall On Europes soil. Taps Taps They stand with bowed, uncovered heads,To hiy them neath the poppies beds. That they neer hear the myriad treadsAs grass oerspreads. Taps Taps As home with steady march they came; Some answered not when called his name,In star of gold is writ his fame,His deeds proclaim. Taps Taps Why spread your flowers upon his grave? His deeds, his actions tell how braveHis noble heart; His life he gave A world to save. Taps Taps They showed how grand it is to die,A Nations name to beautify; And so, in Foreign Lands they lie, ETERNALLY.TAPS - - - TAPS

Experience9 Oh! the life of a student is cruelIf youre new and have just come to townThey laugh at your speech and mannerAnd guy you all day if you frown. I was free as the winds of the heavenUntil came the terrible warThey drafted me into the serviceAnd drilled me thre^ months and more. They shipped me up to SouthwesternAnd there I went, green as grassI roamed around on the side walkAnd stared at the girls that pass. Along came a guy full of businessAnd walked straight up to meHe sold me a ticket for chapel I knew not what chapel consists of Ad me * dime ^ 3,0,1 se- But I felt it would be fun to go And altho twould not be much acting A dime is real cheap for a show. Yes I felt that Id made a bargainAnd gleefully went up to seeWhat this curious outfit called chapelCould really consist of, and be. I was frightened, my knees smote togetherMy feet fairly gut up and flewI left that poor student laughingBut I didnt know what to do. Yes 1 swore I would leave town foreverBut--low, Id already
