Description

Don't worry. I had to put him in the pan so that I could carry him away from the lawn mower. He was surprisingly quick, and I feared that I might crush him if I caught him with my hands.

This is an eastern mole. I have discovered both eastern moles and even a very large star-nosed mole. Unfortunately, most of the times that I get an up close experience with moles is when the dogs catch them. Luckily, this adventure had a happy ending.
