Русский: Экспозиция посвящена культурным традициям коренных народов края (финно-угорской и тюркской языковым группам), а также истории заселения Урала русскими людьми, началом которого стал поход Ермака. В разделе представлен мансийский чум с уникальной «покрышкой», сшитой из бересты в XIX веке, а также башкирская юрта, русская изба, а также предметы материальной и духовной культуры. Представлен портрет Ермака, писаный на листе железа в XVIII веке; мансийская рубаха из крапивного холста, башкирские резные ковши, костюмы уральских народов, национальные девичьи и женские головные уборы, традиционные предметы домашнего быта
