| Description |
English: On the Prom Two cars of very different types are seen here on Blackpool's Promenade: on the left is an English Electric railcoach dating from the 1930s, while the other car, which is on driving trainer duty, is No 159 dating from 1924, and of a type known in Blackpool as a 'Standard'. Similar trams were once familiar in towns and cities across Britain. This particular car is now preserved at the East Anglia Transport Museum, Carlton Colville. |
