English: A series of two prints. The top print depicts a line of soldiers crossing a river while a parallel row of men on horses watches them. The lower print depicts a large number of soldiers, most of which are lying down, resting along a road. There are trees in the left foreground, and wagons on the right going into the background. There is a house and more trees in the background. "A halt for twenty minutes" (written below image). "Copy-righted 1876 by E. Forbes." and "PLATE 38." (printed below image).
