| Description |
English: Old canal basin, Kilbeggan The canal arm into Kilbeggan, from the Grand Canal, is now derelict but the terminus basin, just short of the town, has been conserved and the old warehouse has been refurbished for local businesses to use. One day the basin might see water and boats again - the wooden poles by the warehouse are there so that mooring pontoons might be fitted some time in the futue! |
