| Description |
English: Old Plantation Cawdale. The plantation walls are well maintained to keep out the sheep. It is mostly Sycamore, Beech and a few Pines. Some more stands of timber visible on the Hause all planted years ago. It's hard to imagine that they will be harvested. This out of the way spot with the distinctive square shaped plantations is visible from the M6 at Shap 6 miles away. |
