Description
English: Title: Old Glory Replaces Star and Crescent. Moslem women, whose fathers remember Turkish rule in Albania when the Crescent represented constituted authority throughout the land, are now flocking to the newest standard in Albania the Stars and the Stripes. The flag hangs outside the American Red Cross headquarters in Tirana. Here the veiled Moslem women flock to work in the sewing rooms where Red Cross cloth and cast, off American clothing is re, done to meet the needs of destitute Albanians
