Description
English: Epitaph on tombstone of George Alexander in New Hope Cemetery, part of Monroe Congregational Church and New Hope Cemetery, a.k.a. O'Kay Church, on county road 310 St. between 400 and 415 Aves. in Platte County, Nebraska. The church was built in 1881; it and the cemetery are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The epitaph reads:

Touched with a sympathy within
God knows our feeble frame
He knows what sore temtations [sic] mean

For he has felt the same.
