Description

A lovely view of Foynes in County Limerick from the heights above with the whiff of war in the background in the form of a huge battle cruiser. I suspect that we have been nearby on the same date in the past but this view of the area is so much more sylvan and attractive? My title comes from a song that a returned Yank used to sing at family parties. Oh where the Shannon river flows, There I shall repose, In the land of the shillelaghs With some shamrock neath my nose...
