Summary[edit]

Description
English: I believe there are a few thousand ways to cook Ogbono soup. I personally own about five or six. I have mentioned my friend Damaris Onwuma from Benue State who once mentioned how she cooks her Ogbono soup with lots of spices...how my imagination was so fired up that now I have given myself licence to put in any spice that I fancy in my Ogbono. In one pot of Ogbono, I can add cinnamon, uziza, ginger and black pepper. If one were having guests over and really wanted to wow them, a smoked head of catfish should be added to the stock. This should preferably be a head bought that day.
