Summary[edit]

Description
Solfège symbols

The tones of a scale ordered in a circle
The minor scale goes clockwise from la to la, the major scale from do to do.

The heptagon edges (not shown) are tones, i.e. minor and major seconds.
The black lines are minor and major thirds.
The blue and red lines are fifths. Blue ones belong to a minor, red ones to a major triad.

The yellow line is the tritone. The yellow symbols indicate tones in a tritone like the blue and red ones indicate tones in a triad.
