  • 1a – control: start/restart
  • 2a – response: initial
  • 1b – control: repeat/stop
  • 2b – response: additional
  • 3 – information/data: preferred language
  • 4 – information/data: translation (optional)
  • 5 – information/data: image or sound (optional)
  • 1c – control: repeat/stop

Sequencing of the conduits in the cycle

  • 1a, 2a, 1b, 2b, and 1c use a format that is not distinctly analog or digital, but is for human recognition and sending
  • 1b and 2b are repeated back and forth several times for initialization, authentication, calibration, and synchronization
  • 5 and 1c can be repeated back and forth several times for scan lines or layers in an image, or channels in a sound

  • B – begin
  • E – control, response, and information/data: contains commonly recognized languages and standards
  • V – information/data: contains a mix of analog and digital information in commonly recognized languages and simplified formats
