Oceanic -Biography

Jamaican born, contemporary Reggae producer, songwriter and artist Oceanic, emerged on the scene in 2019 with hit songs,“Dumpling”, “Dumpling Remix”, “Too Hot”, “Bamm Bamm”, “AHH HAA” and “Put Eh Dung”. Shortly after emerging on the scene, he signed to Sony ATV as a producer. Oceanic has Worked with the likes of Sean Paul, Busy Signal, Spice and Stylo G.

No overnight success, Oceanic graduated from University of West London with a BA (Hons) in Music Production in 2016, after toiling for years in the studio to create the sound you hear today. Oceanic Started out building beats and recording himself, and other artists since 2006. He joined forces with songwriter, Taphanie Shari Murdock, and they created “Hardway Records”. Having worked hard over the years to perfect his craft, he has accumulated a range of production skills to his long list of talents.

In late 2020 Oceanic released “Who I am”, a song that veers towards a more classical authentic reggae sound, produced by himself and Robbie Valentine. “Who I Am” went on to make waves on social media and streaming platforms in 2021. Oceanic then followed up with Hustla, a dancehall track, which is his latest single of 2021.
