The Flats along the lake and river fronts arealive with business, and present a fascinating scenefrom some overlooking point. There are factories, oredocks and coal and lumber yards famous the countryover, and water craft of every kind and size. One ofthe most important enterprises is that of the ClevelandRolling Mill Company, whose buildings occupy thirty-two acres, and whose yearly pay-roll reaches morethan $2,000,000.
