Description
English: 'Blanke' weight issued during the reign of Charles I; the reverse refers to 'less 3 grains', usually spelled 'granes' on these pieces, and the number on the obverse 'S XX II' denotes that the weight is for the 'unite', revalued to 22 shillings, of James I. The obverse also has a letter p within a shield in the top left-hand corner which is the year letter for 1632.
