| Description |
The town of Oatman lies in Arizona, on historic Route 66. Over a period of years all of Route 66 was replaced by freeways, leaving the old road with little traffic. Oatman, like several other towns on the route had to do something to survive after the loss of people passing through. Now Oatman is something of a tourist attraction and certainly has a quirky vibe about it. Here is one of the stores catering (mostly) for visitors. People now regularly come on Route 66 just to see Oatman and other interesting towns - just as I did! |
