Note about The Oasis

The Oasis Restaurant, located at 241 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, California, opened in 1933.[1] The Oasis, at the suggestion of Roger Melen, was the "other staging area" for the Homebrew Computer Club.[2] Following Homebrew Computer Club meetings Roger Melen, Harry Garland, Bob Marsh, Lee Felsenstein, Steve Dompier, Gordon French and other club members would continue their discussions the Oasis.[3] The Oasis closed on March 7, 2018[4]
