English: Oakengates Market Hall. The Market Hall in August 2000, the building was later demolished and the market moved to the Limes Walk shopping area. At one time this was a thriving market held every Friday and Saturday but over the years the trade has dwindled and now only two stalls, a fruit and veg stall and a plant stall, open on a Saturday morning.1140939 |
