English: This is a photo of a map by the Ordnance Survey, under the supervision of Henry James, of the City of Southampton. In this image you can see the main Ordnance Survey buildings on the lower left hand corner. Also you can see the photography building or glass house which is the blue looking building about half way up the left hand side of the picture. The map was published in 1865 by the Ordnance Survey.
